Its a great honour to be included in Grace Cook’s article for the NY Times. I remember saying to my first business partner, “why don’t we wave it here”, to which he replied, “don’t be crazy, no one weaves denim in the UK”.

Yes, that’s me up there in the classic indigo dungarees. I was eight years old when that picture was taken. I loved denim then and I love denim now. Truth be told, I’ve probably worn denim pretty much every day since.
